Welcome to my blog!

It’s hard to believe that it took this long. I’m actually one of the people who were among the first to use the Internet before it evolved into the Worldwide Web. Most people pretty much think of them as synonymous today, but I still remember what it was like dialing-up my local community’s server and having to wait for loading time on my 28.8K modem. I remember FidoNet and Wildcat! BBS. I remember when Netscape was text-based and fiber-optic lines were something new. I’m an old-timer even though I’m barely 24. Oh, the good ‘ole days!

Well, what is this blog going to be about? Well, it is my personal homepage, so of course I’m going to largely include autobiographical stuff. I like money, I like travelling and I like getting free stuff, so I guess I’ll largely be writing about  those. If I run into something interesting in this life, you’ll see it here.

Why did I start this site? Largely because I got tired of Facebook and its awful changes. I figured with WordPress I have a bit more control over what happens to my content and how it looks. Now my friends, family, and whomever stumbles across this page can read about me without all of the hassle and they don’t even need to sign-up for anything. This will be my central communication place right here for all things about what’s up. You’ll come to find that people find my life interesting, as boring as I personally think it is at times.
